London – Sharp Europe had the highest growth year-on-year of unit sales of all office equipment manufacturers in Eastern and Western Europe, from April to June 2021, according to the IDC Quarterly Hardcopy Peripherals Tracker, Q2 2021.
The number of A3 monochrome multi-function printers that Sharp sold increased by 126% compared to sales in the same quarter of the previous year.
As well as a solid performance in monochrome, Sharp also increased unit sales of its A3 colour MFPs in the 21-44ppm segment by 62% and is now ranked fifth in the market.
Jason Cort, Director of Product Planning and Marketing, Sharp Europe says: “Sharp Europe continues to grow thanks to our focus on designing smart and flexible devices with easy-to-use intelligent features, that share the same powerful performance and business functionality. We see these results as an endorsement of our A3 range and appreciation by our dealers and end users of Sharp’s supply chain management efforts to assure product availability during these extraordinary times of component and logistic capacity shortages.”
