Sharp Energy Solutions Europe is proud to announce that it has obtained ETN (Enquête de Technique Nouvelle) certificates. The ETN certificates secured encompass compatibility with prominent sub-construction brands. These brands include Renusol, K2, EPC Solaire and PMT, ensuring maximum compatibility with various mounting structures.
The ETN certificate is a certification issued by a French approved control body (Alpes Contrôles, Sud-Est Prévention). These newly acquired certificates cover Sharp's current range of residential solar modules, including the highly acclaimed NU-JC420B, and mark a significant achievement for the company.
ETN certificates are an essential requirement in the solar industry, serving as proof that a solar module is compatible with the specific mounting structure selected by the installer. This certification is not only mandatory, but also plays a pivotal role in ensuring that PV installations are eligible for insurance coverage.
French installers choose PV modules that are compatible with mounting systems to ensure reliability and watertightness, taking into account factors such as roof characteristics.
This approach underlines the critical role of ETN certification, as it enables Sharp Energy Solutions Europe to align its products with installer preferences.
Sharp Energy Solutions Europe is gearing up to introduce a line-up of higher wattage modules, ranging from 425W to 435W, to meet the growing demand for more powerful solar solutions. These future products will further expand the company's offering of ETN-certified solar modules, reinforcing its commitment to providing cutting-edge, reliable, and insurance-compliant solar solutions for the French residential market.
Commenting on this achievement, Celia Alcaraz, Country Manager Sharp Energy Solutions Europe, stated, "Obtaining these ETN certificates is a testament to our commitment to delivering high-quality solar solutions that meet the unique needs of the French residential market. We understand the importance of installer preferences and insurance compliance, and these certificates solidify our position as a trusted partner in the industry."
With its expanding portfolio of ETN-certified solar modules and the forthcoming introduction of higher wattage models, Sharp Energy Solutions Europe is poised to make a significant impact on the French residential solar market.
