Sharp, a leading provider of business technology products and services, has today announced the launch of Synappx Cloud Print, a cost-effective cloud-based print management solution designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Synappx Cloud Print is the latest addition to Sharp’s services platform, enabling it to continue to deliver innovative cloud solutions and services for its customers.
With continued hybrid working across Europe and an increased demand for cloud-based solutions, the need for efficient and secure document printing is vital. Synappx Cloud Print allows workforces to seamlessly manage any printing task across their business, whether teams are working in the office or remotely.
A seamless print management solution
Synappx Cloud Print offers SMEs a simple, cost-effective cloud-based print management solution that is easy to install, use and maintain. The new solution has been designed to work hand in hand with Job Accounting II (JAII), providing options for on-premises and cloud management of printing tasks. Administrators also have a full view of all printing tasks happening within an organisation, wherever they are. In addition, they can review printing usage run reports, set rules and more.
Synappx Cloud Print makes user-onboarding easy, automatically generating welcome emails which include a PIN code so new users can start using the system straight away. Administrators can easily discover, add and remove MFPs and re-use licenses, providing flexibility and convenience.
Synappx Cloud Print has been developed and optimised to work seamlessly with Sharp’s full range of MFPs and printers, providing an easy-to-use experience across systems with the same Sharp ‘look & feel’. Integration with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspaces and tools to quickly import users ensure fast and convenient deployment. Additionally, the Software-As-a-Service (SaaS) model of Synappx Cloud Print means that users just pay as they go, and because it is cloud based no on-premises IT infrastructure is required.
Designed with Zero Trust Network (ZTN) architecture to protect devices and data
To help businesses protect their devices and data, particularly when workforces are spread across different office environments. Synappx Cloud Print is Zero Trust Network (ZTN) by design, ensuring that all print files stay protected on LAN behind a firewall, while all data is encrypted.
Synappx Cloud Print is fully integrated with EntraID (previously Azure AD) and Google Workspace AD preventing unauthorised users from accessing sensitive business documents or data. Additionally, the product offers secure pull-printing and print auditing, increasing visibility for administrators of print tasks taking place across their organisation.
Designed to encourage sustainable print choices
Synappx Cloud Print promotes sustainable print behaviour by encouraging users to print only necessary documents and offers proactive control over printing resources, resulting in reduced waste and costs. It provides better visibility and control over print consumption, making it an ideal solution for businesses looking for efficient, secure and sustainable printing.
Users are encouraged to make more sustainable printing choices with on-screen prompts, such as printing double-sided and deleting prints if multiple copies are sent. The Sustainability Dashboard also provides users with their sustainability summary, which shows them how they rank in terms of sustainability.
Rob Davis, Solutions & Services Business Manager, Sharp Europe, said: “This is print management made simple.
