Sharp has announced the launch of the new BP-70M75 and BP-70M90 High Volume Monochrome Series of MFPs, extending Sharp’s eco-system of future workplace tools to support businesses with their complex needs. The two models offer a seamless and secure print solution for hybrid working environments with the speeds and features to meet the most demanding of tasks for larger work groups of 20 to 50 users.
Each MFP provides users effortless connectivity and state-of-the-art security without compromising commitment to sustainability. The models have been designed to meet the needs of diverse workstyles, enabling workers to effortlessly collaborate and share information securely throughout their office environment, even while working remotely.
Increased productivity alongside seamless connectivity for the future workplace
The BP-70M75 and BP-70M90 models deliver the features businesses need today from media handling to workflow and collaboration. Enhanced cloud services such as Microsoft Teams and Google Drive make it easy to streamline communication, and native Microsoft Universal Print capability allows these models to integrate seamlessly with Microsoft 365 environments that enable simplified print management.
The BP-70M75 and BP-70M90 use the latest technology to help users work more efficiently and with greater productivity. Time-saving features such as multi-sheet feed detection and enhanced auto skew correction help users speed through their jobs. The 300-sheet duplexing, single-pass feature scans documents at up to 280 images per minute for enhanced productivity and efficiency. With speeds of up to 75 ppm and 90 ppm the models offer some of the fastest scanners in the market.
Unparalleled security to protect users, devices and data
Leading security technology is also built into the BP-70M75 and BP-70M90 to help organisations protect their data. Features such as a system integrity check at start up, firmware attack prevention with self-recovery, as well as optional antivirus protection powered by Bitdefender® help protect from malicious intruders. All this with an easy to use 10.1-inch Full Flat Capacitive Touch Panel and AI enabled functionality.
Enhanced sustainability to support environmental goals
The BP High Volume Monochrome models use pad-fusing technology, offering supreme print quality and durability. With lesser parts to be heated, the new system allows for quicker warm-up and lowers overall MFP energy consumption helping businesses address their environmental goals. The models use 80% more recycled materials and create up to 57% less ozone emission than previous versions.
Ben Lake, Senior Product Manager, Sharp, says: “As hybrid working environments have become the norm for the majority of businesses, the need for more seamless connectivity and of course, with it, industry-leading security has become even more important when it comes to MFPs. Alongside this drive for efficiency, organisations cannot afford to compromise from an environmental impact perspective. This is why we focused on delivering on all of these points with these new monochrome models as we are the entire Sharp ecosystem. We are helping our customers build more flexible and more secure workplaces fit for the future.”
The new models are available to buy now from Sharp and its partners.
